Spirit of Elder: A Herb and Medicine Making Circle
Join us at the Brooklyn Apothecary on Tuesday October 27th at 7pm for an evening with Elder medicine.
As the days darken and the veil between worlds grows thin, gather in circle with one of the oldest guardians of the hedgerow: Elder. Long called the Elder Mother, this tree has watched over doorways, gardens, and graves for centuries.
Through meditation, journaling, and folklore, we'll meet the spirit of Elder and reflect on what we're releasing, inviting in, and remembering as the wheel turns toward winter.
Along the way, you'll learn the plant's traditional and modern uses for immune support, grounded in clinical herbalism.
Then we'll come together to brew a Samhain-inspired elderberry syrup as a group. Each guest receives some of the co-created syrup to take home and enjoy.
Included:
- All materials and ingredients for Elderberry syrup
- House made herbal tea blend for the season
- 15% off Anima Mundi products to shop in store
